Q: What is the #1 reason most people do not take action with their businesses?
A: Are you ready for this? FEAR! TA TA TA TAAAAA
It can be fear of failure, fear of success, etc. Well I am here to tell you that F.E.A.R stands for “False Evidence Appearing Real”. That’s right!
The most obvious fear is the fear of failure. There are so many things that can go wrong when starting your own home based business. You are never guaranteed results whatsoever. You do not get paid in an hourly rate like you would in a normal job, but rather as you generate team members. The variety of number of incoming team members per day can include huge swings and will usually be less than 5 if you are not applying attraction marketing right.
Another fear is the fear of getting rejected. This kind of fear is to be found in the prospecting process.
Let me give you an example:
You have started your own home based business. You have generated some leads (Congratulations : ) and you are now about to call your first lead. You are staring at the phone like it has always been your worst enemy.
You might even come up with several “good” reasons why not to call that lead.
Well… At This Point, let me ask you this:J
If I hired you today to call my leads in my business for $30,000 per month, would you then pick up the phone and get to work?
OF COURSE!!! … Right?
Well then. Why wouldn’t you do it in your own business?
Because…
When you are hired by me, the rejection you might risk running into, isn’t really on you. Its rather on my company, on me as a person or the company I represent. And you? – you just did what you were paid to do. Like in any other job.
I am not writing this to try to hire you. I can call my leads myself and save those $30,000
However - what I am trying to do is to encourage you to be your own boss in your business aswell as your life in general. People make mistakes and so do you. If fact – so do I. And that’s what we SHOULD be doing.
A failure will actually give you the opportunity to have more experience when you start off again.
So don’t be afraid to pick up the phone and call the leads you have rightfully generated.
In fact, they WANT you to call them because they were looking for a way to change their lives for the better. They were looking for YOU. The solution to their problem.
Call Those Leads
You deserved them in the first place.
